Radiate Photographer/Videographer
Part Time
In Field | San Diego County
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for capturing a variety of real estate media content for properties throughout San Diego County. While your primary focus will be photography, your work may also include capturing video, drone footage, 3D tours, floor plans, social media content, twilight photography, and more.
Most scheduled hours will involve shooting properties in the field. During slower periods or limited-shoot days, you may assist with training, practice shoots, equipment preparation, content creation, learning new shooting techniques, or other projects that support Radiate’s growth.
This is a physically demanding role that requires flexibility, reliability, and attention to detail. Some days you may be shooting high-end coastal or luxury homes, while others may involve smaller properties, condos, challenging access, or changing weather conditions. Regardless of the property, we expect consistent effort, professionalism, and pride in your work.
Radiate provides all professional camera, drone, gimbal, 3D tour, and other production equipment needed for assigned shoots.
5 Main Job Responsibilities
Become highly skilled in real estate photography and videography and always look for ways to improve your craft
Capture assigned properties and upload all files on time while remaining flexible with changing schedules, locations, and weather
Provide excellent customer interactions by being friendly, professional, and easy to work with at every shoot
Take care of all company-provided equipment and always keep gear organized, charged, and ready for shoots
Be willing to assist with training, practice, content creation, equipment preparation, or other internal projects when not actively shooting properties

$55/hr once photo certified
$65/hr once video certified

$100/hr for twilight shoots
$0.70/mi mileage reimbursement for work-related travel in a personal vehicle
Hours of Work
This is a part-time role with hours based on client bookings and business needs
The position may initially begin with approximately 1–2 shoots per week, with opportunities for additional work as Radiate continues to grow
Weekday availability is strongly preferred
The more availability you can provide, the more scheduling opportunities may be available
You’ll maintain your availability by blocking out times you are unavailable in advance. When your calendar shows you as available, you are expected to be available for Radiate to schedule shoots during that time.
Once a shoot has been scheduled during your stated availability, reliability and honoring that commitment are essential
Occasional twilight, evening, or weekend availability is a plus
Job Requirements
Prior experience in photography and/or videography, demonstrated through a portfolio
Real estate photography or videography experience is a plus, but not required
Experience flying DJI drones
FAA Part 107 certification required before independently performing commercial drone work

Willingness to learn and follow Radiate’s shooting standards and workflow
What It’s Like to Work at Radiate
Radiate is built on trust, responsibility, and high standards.
We’re looking for people who take ownership of their work, care about the client experience, and show up prepared. This role is not about shortcuts or doing the bare minimum. It is about doing things the right way and taking pride in the outcome.
Customer service matters here. How you communicate, how you present yourself, and how you handle details on site are just as important as the quality of the media you deliver. We expect our team to think like owners, solve problems, and take responsibility when something needs to be handled.
The work can be demanding at times. Schedules change, days can be full, and expectations are high. We support each other, rely on clear systems, and value consistency over chaos.
Radiate is a growing company, and opportunities here are earned through reliability, effort, and professionalism. If you care about doing good work, treating people well, and being part of a team that values accountability, you’ll fit in.
